29 avril 2013 - Lusis : HP cards and payments team selects Tango for global processing

Lusis Payments and HP announce a deal that will change the face of payments switching in Australia and beyond.

TANGO brings payments systems into line with the broader IT developments of the last two decades. With a modern architecture capable of servicing all the needs of Australian businesses, it provides a clear edge over systems that were relevant and capable once, but which have not changed to meet current market requirements.

The TANGO solution will be deployed across three central hubs with the first instance already installed in HP’s Regional Cards and Payments Utility in Sydney, Australia. It will run on HP NonStop, the platform of choice for critical on-line transaction processing globally. TANGO’s resilient system software coupled with the well-known capabilities of the HP NonStop platform provides a fully fault tolerant system.

By implementing TANGO, HP is able to service the global processing market for transaction acquiring, complementing its rich heritage in issuing and other back office cards and payments services. TANGO provides the framework that will deliver transaction switching for both issuing and acquiring together with fully integrated merchant accounting and merchant support via a help desk.

“We have experienced a very positive reaction to our technology within the market as a whole, and this process further endorses our ability to deliver large scale implementations on an international basis”, Steve Wright, Managing Director Lusis Payments, added. “We are delighted to be working with HP to deliver the proven high availability and strong performance offered by TANGO. As legacy architectures rumble towards end of life, HP has engineered a proven game changer for its clients looking to process all forms of retail online payments.”
